This vid covers the HH.357 901LR Hybrid. I would like to add that I work 12 hour shifts and so that puts me awake and vaping 15 hours a day. While I’m testing an atomiser, that is the only thing I vape. So these things have to be considered when I say “The atomiser lasted X amount of days”. My days are long and I don’t jump from one to another when testing. A day is 15 hours of the same atomiser, changing batteries as necessary. So be mindful of that when watching the video. Of course all four atomiser in the test will receive this same workout.

Video one of four on the 901 atomiser shoot out. The best 901 atty shootout continues. The contenders are the IKV901, the Empire 901, the HH.357 901, the Cisco spec 901, and the Standard DSE901. The Empire and the HH.357 901 are bridgeless and the balance are standard bridged atties. All of the atties will be used extensively on a native 901 mod at 3.7v as these are without exception 901 LR. This process is about 5 weeks in, with the Empire, the IKV and the DSE already in use. The HH.357 was just started today and the Cisco Spec 901 1.5Ω will be started next week. Look for the videos on these atties to start over the coming weeks.

The Genesis Line Clone. Especially if you own and love the 5v GLV as it will add versatility to your 5v by adding 6v capabilities to your 5v tube with a pair of rcr123a 3v and a 4.5Ω atty. Also I stated in the video that only the tube is painted and the endcap and head is plain. I am aware of the solid matte black and other special paint schemes. The standard paint configuration is what I was talking about in that quote.

Vape meet at Bentley, WA. Put your thoroughly mixed juice in an open glass container. Not a plastic bottle. It warps and adds gods know what to the mixture. Use a graduated cylinder or beaker. Put the glass container of your final mixture in 95ºC water. Not boiling water. The level of juice does not have to be covered by the water. We are just transferring heat for a limited time. Leave it there until the water is about 22ºC or longer. Bottle and enjoy sooner than just letting it set and naturally steep.

I had a Empire Mod in Black Diamond Cut and some Bobas Bounty...

I had a Empire Mod in Black Diamond Cut and some Bobas Bounty waiting on me when I got home today. The bridgeless atty that came with it is working quite well. I love the 901 with the dripshield.

Next up on the video reviews is the GLV mini, in the foreground,...

Next up on the video reviews is the GLV mini, in the foreground, with a GLV 5v for size comparison. I was doing some searching and found this blog post on the internet. It explains things really well and has link to the vendor that i now use. Rather than repost the article in its entirety I just linked to it in the above text. The pricing is good, they ship to Australia with decent shipping costs. It turns out to be about 40.00 a litre shipped in bulk, which is less than what I was paying at Box Elder on the 50% off sale they had regularly. And now I don’t have to wait on a sale.

Did I mention?
I received all of that except it had a aussie plug, which was nice. It also came with 2.5Ω tank cartos instead of 2.0Ω, which I like better on a 5v device anyway and the supplied tank seems to be smaller than 3.5ml. That too is no big deal to me as I prefer the smaller diameter tank. I only mention it as it varies from the description. I had a little trouble on the start and emailed GGecig. They responded quickly and were very nice to correspond with.

I have had a few button sticking incidents over the last 3 days but they are becoming less frequent and are unsticking by itself now rather then having to manually unstick it. I’ll say more about that in my actual video review when I have a chance to use it longer. The issue I contacted GGecigs about was what I thought was a dead Carto that came with the unit. The eGo style Smok dual coil carto would kick off the protection when I first used it and I thought it was just a shorted carto. It turns out that I wanted to use the kit with fully charged batteries right off the bat so I used a set of protected 16340s that I already had charged. It was not the WOW kicking out it was the protection on the batteries. After charging the supplied unprotected batteries and using them I had no further issues with the big honking eGo styles cartomiser that came with it. The other cartos that came with it worked with both the unprotected batteries that came with it and protected 16340s that I already had.

During the 3 days I have used it, I have found I like it. It is not much larger than the 1300 mah off brand eGo that I have. Just a little fatter. But not my much. It has PWM output so I am not able, with my current test equipment, to test loaded output. But I can say that on all the supplied cartos and a standard silver bottom boge 510D it vapes like 5v. I am getting good battery life out of it. It is lasting my 12 hour shift at my normal vaping pace. Initially it appears to be a nice kit, with heaps of cartos that comes with everything you need except e-juice to vape around the clock at 5v with a tank. I hope the button sticking resolves its self before I do the final review. It appears now to be the only major flaw in a otherwise stellar kit.

GLV owners rejoice! SmokTech has a tank that fits the GLV...

GLV owners rejoice! SmokTech has a tank that fits the GLV unaltered and without an extension. The diameter of the tank allows it to screw all the way down on the GLV without hitting the button. The carto is a 2.5Ω Dual Coil that vapes at 5.4V on my GLV 5V. I received this in a SmokTech 5v WOW Kit that I will be doing a first impressions on soon and couldn’t resist putting it on the GLV to try it. The WOW Kit comes from GG Ecigs Australia. They also carry the SmokTech Tank and replacement cartos. Look for the First Impressions and Review coming soon!
